Imaging the Biofield

 Phases 1 & 2

Phases 1 and 2 of the Imaging the Biofield Initiative undertook extensive background research to establish technical approach and feasibility for, and develop a detailed plan towards, achievement of the objective of creating scientifically veritable images of biofields.

Imaging the Biofield

 Phases 3

This pilot study measured multiple human biofields simultaneously during a series of interventions. It made visible a dynamic system of biofields, which appear to be influenced by changes in states of mind or consciousness. For more, watch the video below. Three scientific papers reporting on this study are pending, and will be posted when published.

What if we could see the invisible world of energy moving in and around the human body?

“The idea that we're comprised of an interrelated set of fields that permeate the body and to some degree extend outside the body is reasonable and has a solid foundation scientifically.”

- David Meuhsam, Senior Biophysicist, National Institute of Biostructures and Biosystems

Only now is this frontier area of science being explored more thoroughly and rigorously.

The Imaging the Biofield Initiative seeks to enhance awareness and scientific understanding of biofields by advancing scientifically veritable approaches to measuring and visualizing biofields within and around the human body. The initiative aims to utilize these measures and visualizations to gain insight into the functional significance of biofields for health and wellness, and to communicate these results with the public. Through this initiative, we hope to catalyze a new biofield-based scientific understanding that could transform approaches to healthcare and pave the way for new diagnostic tools and treatments that are more effective, less invasive, whole-person based options for alleviating pain and suffering.

Future Work

Future Imaging the Biofield Initiative work is expected to continue to rigorously measure and study human biofields, including:

1.

Mapping biofields around the full body

2.

Determining the potentially informational role of biofields for early detection of disease

3.

Understanding the functional role of biofields in health and healing, in order to support therapeutic interventions

4.

Exploring how our biofields may be influenced by our interactions with others and with physical environments
